Located in the Çivril district of Denizli, Işıklı Lake transforms into a breathtaking natural attraction during the summer months when its surface is covered with blooming water lilies. Described as a “recently discovered treasure,” the lake is expected to welcome around 100,000 visitors by mid-July.

Situated about 120 km from Denizli city center, the lake spans 7,300 hectares. Originally created for agricultural irrigation, it has become home to various bird, fish, and plant species.

A Scenic Boat Experience

From May through late July, visitors can enjoy one-hour boat trips through the lilies, organized by the local cooperative. The tours offer opportunities to observe wild ducks and other birds up close.

Local Flavors and Hospitality

Small lakeside cafés serve traditional gözleme and Turkish tea. All boat captains are licensed professionals, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience.
