Kemer. Between January and July 2025, Kemer Municipality collected a total of 40,818 kilos of waste. Of this amount, 17,840 kilos came from street garbage and 22,978 kilos from hotel waste.
The cleaning teams work 22 hours a day, regularly emptying around 3,200 waste containers across the district. Operating with a total of 17 shifts, the teams continue their work even during the night, from 02:00 until 06:00. All collected waste is transported to the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality’s 75th Year Solid Waste Facility in Kuzdere.
Mayor of Kemer, Necati Topaloğlu, stated:
“We are working day and night for a cleaner Kemer. Our teams start their duties at the first light of day and continue until late at night, collecting both street garbage and organic waste from hotels. I sincerely thank all our colleagues for their dedicated efforts.”
The municipality also continues its routine neighborhood cleaning operations without interruption.
