Low-Interest Mortgage Campaign Expected in Turkey in the First Half of 2025

In Turkey, low-interest mortgage campaigns targeting low-income and first-time homebuyers are expected to launch in the first half of 2025. Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek has stated that details of these projects are being worked on, and official announcements will be made in the coming days.

These campaigns are expected to offer 240-month (20-year) mortgage loans with an interest rate of 1.20%. While the application criteria have not yet been finalized, significant opportunities for 2+1 and 3+1 apartments are expected to be offered.

Additionally, banks anticipate a 45% increase in mortgage applications in the first quarter of 2025. This increase is expected to be driven by the impact of low-interest mortgage campaigns.

As more details and application processes are officially announced, it is important to follow the announcements from relevant institutions and banks for up-to-date information.
