Programs were held at the Kemer Municipality Culture Hall to commemorate the 18 March Martyrs' Day and the 107th anniversary of the Çanakkale Naval Victory. Kemer Municipality Mayor Necati Topaloğlu, Kemer Deputy Mayor Recep Yılmaz, District National Education Directorate Branch Managers, Final Schools Founder Bilal Tosun, teachers and students attended the program held at Kemer Municipality Culture Hall. The program started and continued with the singing of the National Anthem after a moment of silence. In the program, the students' poetry and music performances were presented to the guests and received great appreciation. In addition to the poetry and music concerts prepared by the students for Çanakkale, the theater performance received great applause from those who attended the program. The cine-vision shows and sand art shows, which describe the spirit of Çanakkale, were also highly appreciated.
President Topaloğlu attended the photography exhibition held at Göynük Science High School after the program. In addition to Mayor Topaloğlu, Deputy Mayor of Kemer Recep Yılmaz, CHP Kemer District President Hüsnü Ünal, CHP Kemer Women's Branch President Sema Özdemir and teachers attended the photograph exhibition describing the Çanakkale Victory.
Making a statement after the program, President Topaloğlu said, “The Çanakkale Victory is one of the turning points in Turkish history. Our ancestors paid a great price to leave this homeland to us. We and our future generations will never forget them. Our students and teachers have prepared a good program. I thank them for their hard work. I wish God's mercy on our comrades in arms, especially Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and our heroes who were martyred in Çanakkale. May their souls rest in peace." He said, and thanked the teachers and students who helped raise generations that embrace the spirit of Çanakkale. He said that the heroic Turkish soldier who wrote the Çanakkale Epic will never be forgotten.
