The increase in real estate and housing rental and purchase rates in Antalya further increased the popularity of Antalya. With the start of the war, sales of residences and real estates for sale and rental in Antalya's favorite districts began to skyrocket.

Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) President Davut Çetin evaluated the housing statistics for February 2022 announced by TÜİK. Expressing that Antalya is the second most preferred city by foreigners after Istanbul, Çetin continued: “Antalya ranks fourth after Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir in monthly total house sales. Among the total house sales in Turkey, house sales to foreigners increased by 54.9 percent compared to February of last year and amounted to 4 thousand 591. In Antalya, 1,999 houses were sold with an increase of 106.2 percent, well above the average of Turkey. In February, while the share of sales to foreigners in all house sales was 5.65 percent in Turkey, it was 23.24 percent in Antalya. While Antalya ranks second after Istanbul in housing sales to foreigners, it is above Turkey's average both in annual growth rate and foreign share in total housing sales
