New Era in Title Deed Transactions: Stricter Controls on Declared Sales Prices

The digital transformation in the real estate sector has accelerated. With the Electronic Listing Verification System (EİDS), a direct data connection has been established between land registry offices and listing platforms.

Under the new system, the sales price declared at the land registry cannot be lower than the advertised listing price. Land registry offices can now directly access the current online listing price of a property.

Properties that are not verified via e-Government cannot be published on listing platforms. Property owners must officially authorize their real estate consultants through the system.

In case of suspected under-declaration, parties are granted a 5-day explanation period. Declaring the actual sales price correctly is now more important than ever.
